The Mom's in our community put together a list of their favorite toothpastes!
As many mom's know, dental hygiene is really hard to instill in our kids. They think it's boring and/or hate the taste of their toothpaste. Little do they know, it doesn't really matter what it tastes like! Regardless, we as parents are tasked to help them understand the value of brushing their teeth.
While that doesn't always hit home, the least we can do as parents is choose to healthy toothpaste our kids will enjoy. In hopes that it will help them at least enjoy brushing their teeth a little bit!

Many major brands that sell toothpaste are full of incredibly toxic and harmful substances. It is so important that we as parents are in the know so we can make healthier decisions for our baby's and kids.
Some common frustrating ingredients you can find in common toothpastes are:
1. Fluoride
2. Triclosan
3. Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS)
4. Artificial Sweeteners
5. Diethanolamine (DEA)
6. Propelyne Glycol
7. Parabens
Without further ado, here are the top non-toxic toothpaste brands:
1. RiseWell
RiseWell was by far the top suggested non-toxic toothpaste suggested by the mom's in our community. It is a natural, healthy toothpaste for kids. RiseWell contains hydroxyapatite, a naturally occurring mineral that helps to strengthen teeth, safely & effectively.
They also have a cute little pink stuffed animal friend that helps them brush their teeth, making brushing a little bit more fun! The currently have only 1 flavor for kids, in birthday cake. We also want to mention that the adult toothpaste and mouthwash is pretty great too!
2. Redmond's EarthPaste
Containing only 9 ingredients, EarthPaste is a natural toothpaste based around bentonite clay. It comes from one of the most unique clay deposits discovered so far—rich in both calcium and sodium. To top it all off, it also contains nano silver with a natural anti microbial.
They have many different flavors to choose from for the whole family!
3. SPRIG + TWIGS
Made from organic ingredients, Sprig & Twig toothpaste is cruelty free, non-gmo, contains no harmful synthetic chemicals, no artificial fragrance, no phthalates, parabens or sulphates, and no dyes.
Keep in mind that this toothpaste is natural and organic which means it will expire in about 12 months. Most organic products do and this is a good sign that it is indeed organic and healthy for your body. Natural products were not meant to live forever :)
4. Uncle Harry's
Uncle Harry's has an array of healthy mouth care. Including organic toothpaste and liquid remineralization drops. They produce that are vegan ad are FREE from gluten, glycerin, fluoride & sweeteners.
5. KidScents
KidScents® Toothpaste is created by Young Living. It has gentle cleaning ingredients help fight plaque, clean children’s teeth, and remove buildup to support healthy-looking gums—all while remaining fluoride and SLS free.
